Most Performances By A Lion And Dragon Dance Team A total of 52 lion and dragon dance performances by Wenyang Sports Association were carried out at Compass Point and Causeway Point from 21 Jan to 10 Feb 2007. This was the largest number of performances carried out by a lion and dragon dance team in 21 days.

2006 Sarawak International Dragon & Lion Dance Festival
- Gold Medal

This festival as held every year in Kuching to promote Wushu, Dragon Dance & Lion Dance. More than 10 countries with more than 20 teams took part in this festival. Wenyang was invited to take part in this tournament during July 2006. Our Junior Lion Dance Team performed the Lion leaping on poles performance and was awarded the prestigious Gold Medal in the tournament.
